"From the first time you lace up the pads for the first game, to the last time you
ever lace up the pads, there are memories that you make for a lifetime. The first
time you run onto the field with the “Friday night lights” lit up look around and
enjoy what is occurring. Those lights will never seem so bright than right now, you
are part of a very special game.
Those people that are standing on the sideline, the alumni, classmates, friends and
family are there to watch their favorite game and you are part of it. The smell of
the grass will never smell the way it does on Friday nights. The coach yelling at
you listen to every word he says it will not only help you during the game but you
will take those words for the rest of your life and use them forever. Look at all
your teammates, those are your best friends and always will be. When its all over
grab a piece of grass and take it with you. I still have the grass from my senior
night and that is one of my pride possessions.
This game is simply amazing and don’t take it for granted. The time you have right
now is everything. The feeling you are having is one of the best feelings you will
ever experience in life. Take every step you take on that field like it will be your
last step on that field, its over before you know it. When people say football is
life, they are not lying."

"We're going inside of ‘em,
we're going outside of ‘em --
inside of ‘em! outside of ‘em! --
and when we get them on the
run once, we're going to keep
‘em on the run. And we're not
going to pass unless their
secondary comes up too
close. But don't forget, men --
we're gonna get ‘em on the
run, we're gonna go, go, go,
go! -- and we aren't going to
stop until we go over that goal
line! And don't forget, men --
today is the day we're gonna
win. They can't lick us -- and
that's how it goes... The first
platoon men -- go in there and
fight, fight, fight, fight, fight!
What do you say, men!"

The center of a wolf's
universe is its pack, and
howling is the glue that
keeps the pack together.
Some have speculated that
howling strengthens the
social bonds between
packmates; the pack that
howls together, stays
together.
